At A&B Business Solutions, we believe that making the world a better place starts right where we live. This belief is the driving force behind our Bring It Home program, which encourages our employees to give back to our home communities through volunteer work. Initially, we set a goal of donating at least 1,000 hours of volunteer time per year. This year, we are proud to announce that we have increased our goal to 1,250 hours—and we have successfully met it!
Our team has been actively involved in various community initiatives, making a positive impact on several local organizations. Here are some of the ways we have been helping our community:
- Junior Achievement – Education and youth development are essential to building a better future. Our team has volunteered with Junior Achievement, delivering programs that inspire and prepare young people for success. From teaching financial literacy to mentoring students, to printing over a million pieces of paper for students in SD.
- A Children’s Home Society – Our volunteers have dedicated their time to supporting A Children’s Home Society, providing care and assistance to children in need.
- Avera Race Against Cancer – We participated in the Avera Race Against Cancer, helping to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment.
- Place for Meow Rescue – Animal welfare is close to our hearts, and our team has spent numerous hours volunteering at Place for Meow Rescue.
- Feeding South Dakota – Combating hunger is a priority for us, and our volunteers have worked tirelessly with Feeding South Dakota to distribute food to families in need. Whether it’s packing food boxes or assisting at distribution centers, our team has been dedicated to ensuring no one goes hungry.
- Helpline Center – Our employees have supported the Helpline Center by volunteering their time to assist with crisis intervention and community resource referrals.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and the positive impact they have made through the Bring It Home program. By increasing our volunteer hours to 1,250 this year, we have shown that together, we can achieve great things and make a significant difference in our communities.
